  • Activity Feed: public or private according to community policy
  • Course Catalog: public for discovery or protected for a private learning site

Registration Prerequisites

Create only the registration pages used by the site. Business mode can use the Registration Landing Page with Professional, Instructor, and Client registration pages. Configure approval and invite requirements before testing the forms.

Course Catalog Prerequisites

Enable course features in VideoHub360 Core before using the Course Catalog template. Confirm course ownership, visibility, product mapping, and membership rules.

Test Each Page

Test logged in and logged out. Confirm the expected template loads, redirects do not loop, the dashboard page is unique, and menu links point to the correct page.

Page Templates Guide

In the WordPress dashboard, go to VH360 Theme → Page Templates.

This screen provides guidance for the theme’s included page templates.

  1. Go to Pages → Add New.
  2. Enter the page title.
  3. Open the page template selector in the page editor.
  4. Choose the needed theme template.
  5. Publish or update the page.
  6. View the page on the frontend.

Common Template Pages

Use page templates for customer-facing community areas such as:

  • Dashboard
  • Profile Edit
  • Login
  • Register
  • Members Directory
  • Activity Feed
  • Bulletins

Only create the pages you plan to use on your site.

Add Template Pages to Menus

After creating pages, go to Appearance → Menus and add the pages to the correct menu locations.

Use the Dashboard Menu location for dashboard navigation and the Primary Menu location for main site navigation.

Test Each Template

After publishing template pages:

  1. View each page while logged in.
  2. View protected pages while logged out.
  3. Confirm redirects and login requirements match VH360 Theme → Template Visibility.

Troubleshooting

A template page looks like a normal page

Edit the page and confirm the correct template is selected.

A protected page redirects to login

This is expected if the template is set to require login under VH360 Theme → Template Visibility.

A menu link opens the wrong area

Edit the menu item under Appearance → Menus and confirm it points to the correct page or dashboard tab.
