Studio Overlays Guide

Workspace

Production Studio includes an Overlays dock beside the monitors. It can be resized, collapsed, and expanded. Use Choose Overlay Tools to enable Lower Thirds, Bible, and Countdown modules for the workspace.

Each module has Control, Customize, and Settings sections. Preview overlay state and Program overlay state are separate.

Stage and Take Live

Create or load the overlay, then use Stage in Preview. Review the Preview monitor. Use Take to Program to send it live. Use Update Program after changing a live overlay, Hide from Program to remove it, or Clear Overlays to clear Program overlays.

Presets and Cues

Lower Thirds use saved presets, Bible uses saved Scripture cues, and Countdown supports reusable configuration through its controls. Save reusable items with clear names and delete only items no longer needed.

Output

Overlays are rendered into the Program composition and therefore appear in the live output and Program recording. They should be tested at the selected Program resolution.
