Appearance Menus

Appearance Menus Guide

Applies to: Current VideoHub360 theme package

Open Menus

Go to Appearance → Menus. Create a separate menu for each location the site uses.

Menu Locations

The theme can use locations such as Primary Menu, Dashboard Menu, User Menu, Community Menu, Mobile Drawer, Mobile Bottom Navigation, and Footer Menu. Assign only one menu to each location.

Dashboard Menu Items

Use the Dashboard Menu Items panel to add generated dashboard tabs. Current entries can include:

  • Overview
  • Studio
  • Videos or Lessons
  • My Courses
  • My Learning
  • Live Rooms
  • Messages
  • Notifications
  • Push Notifications
  • Liked Videos
  • My Playlists
  • + Blog Posts
  • Edit Profile
  • Business Profile
  • Galleries
  • Events
  • Appointments or My Appointments
  • Availability
  • Bulletins
  • Invites
  • Settings

Add Video is opened from Videos or Lessons and should not be added as a normal dashboard sidebar item. Open Add Video or Add Lesson from the Videos or Lessons section.

Do not replace generated dashboard-tab URLs with ordinary page URLs.

Mobile Bottom Navigation

Use Mobile Bottom Nav Items for the compact fixed navigation. Keep the number of items small enough for the target phone width. Configure labels and icons, then test safe-area behavior in the browser and installed PWA.

User, Community, Drawer, and Footer Menus

Use normal WordPress pages, posts, custom links, and the theme’s generated item panels. The User Menu is intended for account actions. Community Menu presentation is customized in the Customizer. Mobile Drawer can contain a broader set than the bottom navigation.

Visibility

A menu item can be hidden by login state, account type, permission, professional approval, membership gate, inactive license, or disabled feature. Menu visibility does not grant access to the destination.

Test Menus

Test administrator, normal member, professional, instructor, and logged-out views. Test desktop, mobile browser, and installed PWA. Confirm active states, icons, tab routing, safe-area spacing, and logout behavior.
