Author Template Mode

Author Template Mode Guide

Open Author Template Mode

In the WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Customize and open the Author Template Mode section.

This setting controls which type of author/profile template the site uses.

Available Author Display Modes

The theme supports different author/profile display modes, including profile-style, channel-style, business/professional-style, and client-style displays.

Choose the mode that matches the type of site you are building.

Choose the Correct Mode

Use a profile or channel mode for general community/video creator sites.

Use Business Mode when your site needs professional/client profile behavior and appointment-based features.

Publish and Test

  1. Select the author template mode.
  2. Publish the Customizer changes.
  3. Open a user profile on the frontend.
  4. Confirm the profile layout matches the selected mode.

Troubleshooting

The profile layout did not change

Clear cache and refresh the public profile page.

Business profile behavior is missing

Confirm Business Mode is configured under VH360 Theme → Business and that the user account is using the correct account type.

Different users show different profile behavior

This can happen when account type or profile mode affects the display. Review the user profile/account type settings and the selected Author Template Mode.
