Template Visibility
Template Visibility Guide
Applies to: Current VideoHub360 theme package
Open Template Visibility
Go to VH360 Theme → Template Visibility. The screen controls which community templates require login. Guests who open a protected template are redirected to the login page.
Login, Register, Lost Password, and Reset Password pages remain public to prevent redirect loops.
Templates That Can Be Protected
The screen can protect the supported community templates, including Dashboard, Profile Edit, Members Directory, Activity Feed, Bulletins, Course Catalog where integrated, and public author/profile archives.
Recommended Configuration
- Dashboard: require login
- Profile Edit: require login
- Members Directory: public for discovery or private for a closed community
- Activity Feed: public or private according to the community model
- Bulletins: according to bulletin audience and membership policy
- Course Catalog: public for course discovery or private for a closed learning site
- Public Profiles: public for discoverability or private for a closed community
Relationship to Other Access Rules
Template Visibility decides whether the page requires login. It does not grant a role permission, approve a professional, activate a membership, or override content-specific access. A logged-in user can still be denied by those systems.
Test Access
Test each protected page in a logged-out browser, as a normal member, and as any restricted account type. Confirm the login redirect returns the user to the intended destination without a loop.
