Studio Troubleshooting and Browser/Device Checks

Applies to: Current VideoHub360 theme package

Browser and Security

Use a current browser over HTTPS. Studio checks browser support, camera/microphone permission, Program canvas, recording format, active job, Program source, and REST errors.

Camera or Microphone Missing

  • grant browser permission
  • close other applications using the device
  • reconnect USB hardware
  • use Test Camera/Test Microphone
  • grant access so device names can be listed
  • refresh Sources and reselect the device

No Audio in Output

Confirm the correct input device, Active status, moving meter, channel unmuted, gain above zero, Master Output active, and public viewer/recording test. Hardware mixer sub-channels are not separated unless the browser exposes them separately.

Studio Freezes When Hidden

Keep the production tab visible. Use Open Studio Window for a focused window and avoid aggressive browser power-saving or tab-discard features during a live session.

Recording Upload Failure

Use Retry failed chunks. Check network stability, maximum recording size, PHP limits, disk space, writable uploads/temp paths, REST/security filters, and provider diagnostics.

Replay Stuck Processing

Use Check replay status. Review Provider Status Checks and Recent Publish Diagnostics. Confirm provider credentials, webhook/status reconciliation, provider IDs, and public playback readiness.

Viewer Shows Duplicate Host

Update Core and Studio together. The public host view must join as a separate audience UID and must not publish a second host stream.

Mobile Live End Not Confirmed

Use End Live Again and wait for confirmation. Do not simply close the browser while the server still reports the session live.
