Colors and Typography Guide

Open Colors and Typography

In the WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Customize.

The theme includes separate sections for Colors and Typography.

Update Site Colors

Use the Colors section to adjust site color settings such as primary, secondary, text, background, border, success, warning, error, info, and footer colors.

Only change the colors you want to customize.

Update Typography

Use the Typography section to adjust font-related settings for the site.

Typography settings affect the visual style of text across supported theme areas.

Publish and Test

  1. Update the color or typography settings.
  2. Publish the Customizer changes.
  3. Review the homepage, archive pages, dashboard pages, and profile pages.
  4. Confirm the new styling is readable on both light and dark areas of the site.

Troubleshooting

Colors did not update

Confirm the Customizer changes were published and clear cache.

Text is hard to read

Adjust the related text and background colors so there is enough contrast.

A specific feature did not change

Some plugin or feature areas can have their own styling controls. Review that feature’s specific settings if needed.
