Profile Editing Guide

Open the Profile Edit Page

Users edit their profile from the frontend profile edit page, not from the WordPress backend.

The profile edit page should use the Profile Edit page template.

Update Basic Profile Details

1. Log in as the user.
2. Open the profile edit page.
3. Update the available profile fields.
4. Save changes.
5. View the public profile to confirm the updates.

Update Avatar and Cover Image

The theme includes frontend profile image styling and avatar-cropping support.

Use the profile edit page to update the profile avatar and cover image when those controls are available.

Update Social Links

If social-link fields are enabled for profiles, users can update them from the profile edit page.

Only add links the user wants shown publicly.

Review Profile Settings

Administrators can review related settings under VH360 Theme → Profile Settings.

These settings affect how profile features display across the site.

Troubleshooting

The profile edit page does not load

Confirm the page exists and is assigned to the Profile Edit page template.

Guests can access the profile edit page

Go to VH360 Theme → Template Visibility and confirm the Profile Edit page requires login.

Profile changes do not appear publicly

Save the profile again, clear cache if needed, and view the public profile while logged out or in a private browser window.
