Audio Mixer And Inputs

Audio Mixer and Multiple Audio Inputs

Applies to: Current VideoHub360 theme package

Mixer Channels

Studio provides browser audio-input channels plus fixed Screen Share, Media/Asset, and Master Output channels. Each available channel includes status, gain, mute, and a level meter.

Add an Audio Input

  1. Click Add Audio Input.
  2. Set the Input name.
  3. Choose the browser-visible Device.
  4. Confirm the current status and meter.

The default workflow begins with a primary Mic/Aux input. Secondary inputs can be added and removed.

Set Levels

Speak or play audio at the expected loudness. Adjust gain so the meter is active without reaching Clip. Use channel mute for sources that should not enter the Program mix. Confirm Master Output is active.

Hardware Mixers

Each Studio input represents one device exposed by the browser. Internal sub-channels from a hardware mixer are not separated unless the operating system/browser exposes them as separate devices. Mix hardware sub-channels in the hardware or its control software before they reach Studio.

Troubleshooting

Grant microphone permission to list devices, close other apps using the input, reconnect USB devices, refresh Sources, and reselect the device. Test the recording and public viewer because a moving local meter alone does not confirm the final mix.
