Giving Setup and Administration

Open Giving

Go to VH360 Theme → Giving. The screen includes Overview, Settings, Funds, Transactions, and Reports.

Settings

Configure:

• Enable Giving
• frontend dashboard tab label
• checkout display name
• default currency
• minimum giving amount
• suggested amounts
• success and cancel messages
• anonymous giving
• donor notes

Giving uses the Stripe connection provided by VideoHub360 Memberships. Confirm Test/Live mode, payment keys, webhook signing secret, endpoint, and required webhook events under the Stripe settings.

Funds

Create a fund with Label, Fund key, Description, Default amount, Display order, and frontend enabled state. Fund keys should remain stable after transactions exist. Deleting a fund with transaction history archives it so historical reporting remains intact.

Transactions

Transactions are updated through Stripe Checkout and webhooks. The system can show paid, canceled, expired, failed, and other supported statuses. Use filters for status, fund, donor, gateway, source, and date.

Reports

Review totals, gifts, donors, fund totals, recurring giving, and available status/gateway/source filters. Download Summary, Transactions, Fund Totals, and Recurring Giving reports as needed.

Frontend My Giving

When enabled, the Dashboard can show the configured Giving/My Giving section so users can review giving history and recurring gifts.

Repair

Use Repair Giving Database Tables only when the screen reports missing/damaged tables or after a verified migration issue. Back up the database first.
