Video Analytics and Ad Tracking Guide

Open Analytics

In the WordPress dashboard, go to VideoHub360 → Analytics.

This screen is used for reviewing ad click analytics connected to the video system.

Enable Ad Click Tracking

Ad click tracking is controlled from VideoHub360 → Settings.

  1. Go to VideoHub360 → Settings.
  2. Find the ad click tracking settings.
  3. Enable ad click tracking.
  4. Configure the global ad click URL if you want a shared click destination.
  5. Choose whether ad clicks should open in a new tab.
  6. Save changes.

Configure Video Ad URLs

The video settings include global ad URL options such as pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll ad settings.

Use the global settings when you want consistent ad behavior across videos.

Review Analytics

  1. Go to VideoHub360 → Analytics.
  2. Review the available ad click data.
  3. Use the results to confirm whether video ad clicks are being tracked.

Test Ad Click Tracking

  1. Open a published video on the frontend.
  2. Click the configured ad area or ad link.
  3. Return to VideoHub360 → Analytics.
  4. Confirm the click is recorded.

Troubleshooting

Clicks are not being tracked

Confirm ad click tracking is enabled in VideoHub360 → Settings.

The ad opens in the same tab

Review the setting that controls whether ad clicks open in a new tab.

The analytics screen is empty

Run a test click on the frontend after enabling tracking, then return to the analytics screen.
