Recording and Replay Publishing

Recording and Replay Publishing

Applies to: Current VideoHub360 theme package

Recording Source

Studio records the Program composition and mixed audio, not a raw collection of every source. Stage and transition sources carefully before and during recording.

Start and Stop

After the live setup and Program checks, click Start recording. Confirm the recording status and timer/progress. Click Stop recording before closing Studio or publishing the replay.

Studio uses MP4-first recording where the browser supports it, including an avc3 path where available. A WebM fallback can be used when MP4 recording is unsupported.

Chunk Upload

Recording data is tracked as a Studio job and uploaded in chunks. If chunks fail, use Retry failed chunks. Do not publish while required chunks remain missing.

Prepare Replay

Prepare replay validates and assembles the available recording for the selected destination. The job can move through recording, stopping, uploading, processing, ready, failed, or canceled states.

Publish Replay

Publish replay sends the prepared recording to the configured provider and updates VideoHub360 replay metadata. When the Studio session has an original live-video post, publishing normally updates that post rather than creating an unrelated second post. The original URL, chat history, and livestream context remain available.

Processing

A cloud provider can remain in processing after upload. Use Check replay status until the provider and VideoHub360 post report ready. The public page can show that the stream ended and the replay is being prepared.

Verify

Open the replay and check video, audio, duration, title, cover/poster, access rules, chat, provider playback, and mobile behavior.
