- Open the registration page and confirm the registration content and fields are correct.
- Test the lost password page by requesting a password reset email.
- Open the reset password link from the email and confirm the reset password page appears correctly.
- Log in with a test user and confirm the redirect destination works as expected.
Troubleshooting
I do not see my changes on the page
Click Publish in the Customizer, then clear any site or browser cache and test again while logged out.
The login page redirects me away
The login template redirects already logged-in users. Test the login page in a private browser window or after logging out.
The custom redirect is not being used
Confirm Login Redirect Destination is set to Custom URL, then confirm the full URL is entered in Custom Redirect URL.
If a user was sent to login from a protected page, that protected page can take priority after login.
The password reset link does not show the branded reset page
Confirm the site has a reset password page using the theme’s Reset Password page template, then send a new reset password email and test the new link.
