Community Menu Customizer Guide

Assign the Menu

Create and assign the Community Menu under Appearance → Menus. The Customizer controls how the assigned menu is presented; it does not create the menu items.

Customize the Menu

Open Appearance → Customize → Community Menu and review:

• Behavior: where and when the menu appears
• Layout: position, width, spacing, item arrangement, and responsive behavior
• Colors: backgrounds, text, icons, hover/active states, and borders
• Typography: font family, size, weight, and related text settings

Icons

Use the supported menu-item icon controls or CSS-class mechanism described by the Menus screen. Verify icons in normal, hover, and active states.

Test

Test logged in and logged out, desktop and mobile, pages with template visibility rules, and any membership-protected areas. If no menu appears, confirm a menu is assigned to the Community Menu location before changing Customizer styling.
