Creating and Managing Videos Guide
Open the Video Area
In the WordPress dashboard, go to VideoHub360.
This is where video entries are created and managed.
Add a New Video
- Go to VideoHub360 → Add New Video.
- Enter the video title.
- Add the main content or description.
- Set the featured image if you want the video to display with a thumbnail.
- Configure the available video settings on the edit screen.
- Publish or update the video.
Use Categories, Locations, and Series
The video system includes separate organization areas for:
- Video Categories
- Locations
- Series
Use these to organize video entries and make the archive filters more useful for visitors.
Review Video Settings
The video edit screen can include settings for video display, video source details, livestream behavior, ads, and related display options.
Only fill in the fields needed for that specific video.
Manage Existing Videos
- Go to VideoHub360 → All Videos.
- Search or filter the video list.
- Open the video you want to edit.
- Make the needed changes.
- Click Update.
Check the Published Video
After publishing or updating a video:
- View the video on the frontend.
- Confirm the title, thumbnail, video player, and content display correctly.
- Confirm any category, location, or series assignment displays correctly.
- If the video uses livestream features, test the live behavior separately.
Troubleshooting
The video does not appear on the archive
Confirm the video is published and assigned to the expected category, location, or series if filters are being used.
The thumbnail does not appear
Confirm a featured image is set on the video edit screen.
The video URL or player is not working
Edit the video and confirm the video source settings are filled in correctly.
