Video Shortcodes Guide
Open the Shortcodes Screen
In the WordPress dashboard, go to VideoHub360 → Shortcodes.
This screen is used for shortcode-based video display options.
Available Video Shortcodes
The Core plugin provides these video shortcodes:
[videohub360_videos][videohub360_hero]
Use these shortcodes on WordPress pages, posts, or widget areas that support shortcodes.
Display a Video Grid
Use the video shortcode when you want to display video entries outside of the default video archive or template.
- Edit the page where you want the video display to appear.
- Add a Shortcode block.
- Paste the video shortcode.
- Save or update the page.
- View the page on the frontend.
Display a Hero Video Section
Use the hero shortcode when you want a hero-style video area on a page.
- Edit the target page.
- Add a Shortcode block.
- Paste the hero shortcode.
- Save or update the page.
- View the page on the frontend.
Confirm the Output
After adding a shortcode, check the page on the frontend and confirm the video output appears in the expected location.
Troubleshooting
The shortcode text appears instead of the video output
Confirm the shortcode was added to a normal WordPress content area or Shortcode block.
No videos appear
Confirm video entries have been created and published under VideoHub360.
The output does not match the page design
Review the page layout and any theme styling options that affect the content area where the shortcode was placed.
