Video Import and Export Guide

Open Import and Export

Go to VideoHub360 → Import/Export. Use the exporter to move supported VideoHub360 post data and the importer to create or update entries from the supported file format.

What to Review Before Export

Confirm the scope, post status, metadata, taxonomies, course relationships, and other options shown by the exporter. Chat messages and moderation data are not included.

Import Behavior

Review duplicate handling before starting. The importer can use the supported slug/identity rules to skip, overwrite, or append entries according to the selected option.

Imported metadata can reference external video, image, or embed URLs, but the importer does not automatically copy every externally hosted media file into the destination site or replay provider.

After Import

• save permalinks
• check categories and tags
• inspect thumbnails and external URLs
• verify course ownership and lesson relationships
• run Course Ownership repair only when needed
• test archive and single-video playback
• review membership/product mappings

Use a staging site for a large import and retain the original export and database backup.
