Built-In and Custom Fields
Built-in fields retain their established meta keys and cannot be deleted. Administrators can enable them, select account types, and control public display.
Custom fields support the field types shown on the screen, including text, textarea, email, URL, phone, number, and checkbox. Use lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores for the Field Key. Configure account-type targeting, Edit Profile visibility, public About visibility, user visibility toggle, display order, and required state.
Deleting a custom field definition does not automatically erase previously stored user data.
Edit a Profile
Users open Dashboard → Edit Profile or the Profile Edit template page. They can update the fields made available to their account type, upload profile images within limits, and manage public visibility where a user toggle is enabled.
Account Settings
Dashboard → Settings controls account-level preferences such as profile visibility, public email, comments, private messages, and notifications. These are separate from the profile-content fields.
Administrators
Use VH360 Theme → Profile Data to inspect and export saved profile data. Use WordPress Users to edit account credentials and roles.
Test Profiles
Test Creator, Client, Professional, and Organization accounts. Verify field targeting, required validation, public/private display, avatar cropping, cover image handling, social links, and mobile profile tabs.
