Enable and Permit Events

Grant Create Events permission under VH360 Theme → Permissions. Professional accounts may also need approval before the Events dashboard section appears. Apply any membership event-creation gate separately.

Create an Event

Creators can open Dashboard → Events. Administrators can use the WordPress event management screens where available.

Complete the relevant fields:

• title
• description and excerpt
• featured image
• event type
• start and end date/time
• location or online details
• RSVP or attendance information
• categories and tags
• publication status

Manage Events

The dashboard lists the current user’s events and provides available Edit, View, and Delete actions. Publishing ability depends on role and workflow rules.

Event Display

Events use their archive and single-event templates. Configure related Template Header, layout, search, and menu settings where provided.

Events vs Appointments

An event is a scheduled public or audience-facing content item. An appointment is a private booking between a client and a professional and can have its own live session. Do not use Events as a replacement for appointment availability.

Test Events

Test timezone, date ordering, archive filters, single-event details, permissions, professional approval, membership gating, and expired/past-event behavior.
