Availability and Appointments

Availability and Appointments Guide

Applies to: Current VideoHub360 theme package

Requirements

Appointments are part of the business/professional workflow. A professional or organization account must be approved when professional approval is enabled. Clients use the booking side of the system.

Configure Professional Approval

Go to VH360 Theme → Business. Enable approval when new professionals should remain restricted until an administrator approves them. Approve or reject pending accounts from the same screen.

Set Availability

An approved professional opens Dashboard → Availability and configures:

  • appointment duration
  • buffer time between appointments
  • weekly availability by day
  • one or more time blocks for each available day

Availability determines which booking times clients can select. Save changes and verify the site timezone before accepting bookings.

Book an Appointment

A client opens the professional profile or booking interface, selects an available time, and completes the booking flow. The system should prevent unavailable, overlapping, or invalid time selections according to the current schedule.

Manage Appointments

Professionals see Appointments. Clients see My Appointments. Each side can view the appointment status and available actions.

Appointment states and actions depend on the current implementation and time. Test upcoming, active, completed, and canceled cases.

Appointment Live Sessions

An appointment can provide a live-session action when the professional starts the session. The client can join only when the appointment and session state permit it. Appointment live sessions are separate from Production Studio, Mobile Live, and general Live Rooms.

Test the Workflow

Use an approved professional and a separate client account. Test timezone, duration, buffer, multiple blocks, overlap prevention, booking, cancellation/status changes, live start/join/end, and mobile dashboard access.
