Template Visibility

Template Visibility Guide

Open Template Visibility

In the WordPress dashboard, go to VH360 Theme → Template Visibility.

This screen controls which community templates require users to be logged in.

Choose Which Pages Require Login

Use the checkboxes on the Template Visibility screen to decide which community pages should be protected.

When a template requires login, guest visitors are redirected to the login page.

Recommended Use

Use login protection for private user areas such as dashboard and profile editing pages.

Keep public profile pages public if you want members to be discoverable by visitors.

Save and Test

  1. Change the Template Visibility settings.
  2. Save changes.
  3. Open the affected page while logged out.
  4. Confirm the page either displays publicly or redirects to login based on your setting.

Troubleshooting

A page is redirecting to login unexpectedly

Go to VH360 Theme → Template Visibility and confirm that page/template is not set to require login.

A private page is visible to guests

Enable login requirement for that template and save changes.

The login redirect is not working

Confirm your login page is created and assigned correctly in the site’s authentication page setup.
