Open Registration Form Settings

In the WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Customize.

The Customizer includes registration-related sections for register page content, register page design, custom registration fields, and registration notifications.

Customize Register Page Content

Use the register content controls to update the text shown on the registration page.

This can include the register page headline, description, and related text displayed around the form.

Customize Register Page Design

Use the register design controls to adjust the visual style of the registration page.

These controls affect colors and styling used by the register page design.

Add Custom Registration Fields

The Customizer includes custom field controls for registration.

For each custom field you want to use:

1. Enable the field.
2. Enter the field label.
3. Enter the field slug.
4. Publish the Customizer changes.
5. Test the registration form.

Configure Registration Notifications

Use the registration notification controls to decide whether registration notifications should be sent and which email address should receive them.

Test Registration

1. Open the registration page while logged out.
2. Submit a test registration.
3. Confirm the account is created.
4. Confirm any enabled custom fields appear on the form.
5. Confirm registration notifications are received if enabled.

Troubleshooting

A custom field does not appear

Confirm the field is enabled and the Customizer changes were published.

Notification emails are not received

Confirm registration notifications are enabled and the notification email address is correct.

The registration page design did not change

Clear cache and confirm you published the Customizer changes.
