Global Settings and Branding

Global Settings and Branding Guide

This guide covers site-wide branding and global display settings available in the theme’s customer-facing settings.

Site Identity

Use the standard WordPress Site Identity settings to manage your site title, tagline, and logo.

  1. Go to Appearance → Customize.
  2. Open Site Identity.
  3. Set your site title, tagline, and logo as needed.
  4. Publish your changes.

Logo Size

The theme includes a Customizer setting for logo width.

  1. Go to Appearance → Customize.
  2. Open Logo Settings.
  3. Adjust Logo Maximum Width (px).
  4. Publish your changes.

Use this setting when your logo appears too large or too small in the header.

Site Header Branding

The site header uses the logo and header settings together. If your logo is uploaded but does not look correct, review both:

  • Site Identity for the uploaded logo
  • Logo Settings for logo width
  • Site Header for header/navigation behavior

Mobile Orientation Lock

The theme includes a global setting for mobile orientation behavior.

  1. Go to Appearance → Customize.
  2. Open the global/mobile-related settings area.
  3. Find Enable Orientation Lock.
  4. Enable it if you want mobile users in landscape orientation to see a rotate-device message.
  5. Disable it if you want landscape mode to work normally.
  6. Publish your changes.

This setting affects the mobile viewing experience site-wide.

Layout and Spacing Settings

Some global layout behavior is controlled through related Customizer sections, including sidebar and layout settings. Use those settings to control page, post, product, and archive layout behavior.

For detailed layout options, use the dedicated sidebar and layout guide.

Test Branding Changes

  1. Upload or change the logo under Site Identity.
  2. Adjust the logo maximum width.
  3. Publish changes.
  4. View the site header on desktop.
  5. View the site header on mobile.
  6. Test mobile landscape orientation if orientation lock is enabled.
