Global Settings and Branding
Global Settings and Branding Guide
Applies to: Current VideoHub360 theme package
Site Identity
Go to Appearance → Customize → Site Identity to set the site title, tagline, site icon, and WordPress custom logo.
Logo Size
Go to Appearance → Customize → Logo Settings and set Logo Maximum Width (px). The accepted range is 50 to 600 pixels.
The uploaded logo comes from Site Identity. Logo Settings controls only its maximum displayed width.
Site Header
Go to Appearance → Customize → Header & Navigation → Site Header to configure the site-header layout and behavior. Review this section after changing the logo because logo size and header spacing work together.
Global Settings
Go to Appearance → Customize → Site Behavior / Advanced → Global Settings.
Force portrait mode on mobile
Enable Force portrait mode on mobile (show rotate message in landscape) to display a rotate-device overlay when a mobile device is held in landscape. Disable it to allow normal landscape use.
This option does not change the PWA manifest orientation and does not repair browser viewport or bottom-navigation behavior.
Test the Changes
- Publish the Customizer settings.
- Check the header on desktop and mobile.
- Verify that the logo remains readable without crowding the navigation.
- Test portrait and landscape orientation when the orientation setting is enabled.
- Test the installed PWA separately when PWA/App is enabled.
Troubleshooting
The logo is too large or too small
Adjust Appearance → Customize → Logo Settings → Logo Maximum Width (px).
The logo does not appear
Set a logo under Appearance → Customize → Site Identity.
The header spacing changed after replacing the logo
Adjust the logo maximum width, then review Header & Navigation → Site Header.
Mobile users see a rotate-device overlay
Disable Site Behavior / Advanced → Global Settings → Force portrait mode on mobile when landscape use should remain available.
