Studio vs Live Rooms vs YouTube Live

Studio vs Live Rooms vs YouTube Live

Applies to: Current VideoHub360 theme package

Use Studio When

Use Studio for a VideoHub360-produced livestream that needs camera/screen/media switching, Preview/Program, transitions, multiple audio inputs, overlays, browser recording, and replay publishing to VideoPress, Publitio, Bunny Stream, or Local Media.

Use Mobile Live When

Use Mobile Live for a streamlined phone broadcast with camera switching, mic/camera controls, Broadcast/Interactive mode, participants, and direct mobile end flow.

Use Live Rooms When

Use Live Rooms for community-style interactive rooms managed from the Live Rooms dashboard section. Live Rooms can use Agora and participant features, but they do not provide the full Studio Program/record/replay production console.

Use YouTube Live Auto-Broadcast When

Use YouTube Live Auto-Broadcast when YouTube is the source of the live video and Core should detect/present the channel’s live stream. The replay/source remains tied to YouTube rather than a Studio-recorded Program output.

Permission Note

Host Live Rooms permission governs Live Rooms and Studio access. Studio also requires an active product license. Each workflow can have separate chat, membership, viewer, and replay behavior.
